Yes, theChecklist is completely free to download and use. The core experience — discovering places, creating shared lists, and seeing group matches — will always be free. Optional premium features may be added in the future.
How many people can use theChecklist together?
There is no limit. You can invite as many people as you want to any list. theChecklist works for two friends choosing dinner, a team of ten picking a venue, or a group of twenty planning a reunion.
Can I use theChecklist without a group?
Yes. Even without a group, you can use theChecklist to browse curated places, save your favourites, and build a personal want-to-visit list. It works great for keeping track of recommendations from friends or social media.

theChecklist includes restaurants, cocktail bars, rooftop bars, speakeasies, wine bars, cafes, pubs, live music venues, immersive experiences, comedy clubs, food markets, galleries, museums, and more across London's best neighbourhoods.
Where does theChecklist get its venue data?
Places are curated from trusted sources including Google Maps, local guides, and editorial research. Every venue is reviewed for quality before being added. New places are added regularly based on quality, relevance, and user feedback.
Is my data private on theChecklist?
Yes. Your swipes are only visible to members of your shared lists — nobody else can see what you like or dislike. theChecklist never sells your data to third parties and takes user privacy seriously.
What platforms is theChecklist available on?
theChecklist is available on iOS (13+) and Android (5+). Download it free from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. A web version for desktop planning is in development.
Can I export my lists from theChecklist?
List export is coming soon as part of a premium tier. You will be able to export matched places to your calendar, share them as itineraries with others, and integrate with other planning tools.
